Comparison study in multiple clinical centers, with forward looking and random design

Participating institutions:

  • Department of Orthopedics, PLA General Hospital

Standards for selecting cases:

  • General lowback pain patients who have chronic lowback pain as major symptom {pain, numbness, cold feel)
  • No response to existing antiphlogistic analgesic, or effect not evident
  • 18-65 years of age. sex unbiased

Diseases diagnosed:

  • Chronic lowback pain
  • Deformed (retrogressive) vertebrae disease
  • Lumbar spinal canal stenosis
  • Disconnection of narrow parts of lumbar spine, spondylolisthesis, and others

Medicine studied:

  • Tested medicine:Analgecine
  • Positive control: Neurotropin

Number of cases:

Test 100, reference 100, total 200

Administration:

3 ml each time, one time each day, for two successive weeks

Result 1: In two weeks, Analgecine clearly alleviated nerve symptoms, such as pain, numbness, cold feel, etc.

Result 2: In the first week and the second week, the curative effect of Analgecine was higher than that of the control.

Overall clinical evaluation:

The total response rate (remarkable effective rate plus effective rate) of Analgecine in treating chronic lowback pain for two weeks was 81%, which is an indicator for excellent curative effect.

Conclusion:

Clinical testing results showed that Analgecine had remarkable and fast curative effect for chronic lowback pain and multiple symptoms that accompanied lowback pain, and had the advantages of good adaptability, less adverse effects, high safety. Thereby, Analgecine is highly recommended for clinical application.
